Sir,
I have the honour to transmit for the signification of Her Majesty's pleasure the following Ordinance entitled:
# An Ordinance to authorise the Appropriation of a Supplementary Sum of three hundred and eight thousand six hundred and seventy-two dollars and eighty-seven cents, to defray the charges of the year 1898." - No.20 of 1899.
2. The customary Report by the Attorney General is annexed.
3. Six copies of the Supplementary Estimates for 1898 are forwarded herewith, in which will be found full explanations of the supplementary votes approved by the Legislative Council.
